Financial Investigation TIG Update, 27.01.22

The first meeting of the newly established FI TIG working group on cryptocurrencies took place on the 27th of January 2022. In a brainstorming session the participants discussed the topics they would like to focus on and the final outcome the group should produce.

The next subgroup meeting will be held online on the 22nd of February from 13:00-15:00 CET. During this meeting, we will have a further debate about how to proceed with the working group as well as two informative presentations:

• 'Financial investigation of NFT's' by Mr. Kurt H.M. Caestecker
• ‘Money laundry with Fintech’ by Mr. Hugo Leijtens

The first FI TIG meeting in 2022 will take place on 17 March at 2 p.m. on the topic of OSINT.
