First Operational Centres TIG F2F Meeting in Prague on October 18-20, 2022

The Czech Police hosted the first SG-OC TIG meeting in Prague on October 19th and 20th.

In addition to TIG members, the meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chief of the Czech Police Maj. Gen. Tomá Lerch and the Head of the Operational Department Col. Frantiek Habada opened the meeting with Patrick Padding, ENLETS Core Group Leader. 

The purpose of this event was to envision a future collaboration between European Operations Centers. Each country has its own systems and languages, but the goal is the same: to help people. OCs function well because of the actual people who work there, and it is for them that study visits, meetings, exchanges of good practices, and the search for modern technologies are planned in this group. 

The meeting provided an opportunity to establish action points and next steps for the near future, as well as to get to know each other better – during the “Round Table” session, participants introduced themselves and their work. Participants at the meeting also had the opportunity to tour the Operations Centre in Prague and gain first-hand knowledge of the equipment used on a daily basis.
