The C-UAS TIG resumes regular meetings

Following the holiday season, the C-UAS TIG resumed its regular monthly meetings. The founder and CEO of DroneALERT hosted the most recent meeting on September 13, 2022.

Through interoperable drone threat systems for public and law enforcement data, it aids in the collection and management of drone incident threats. Furthermore, the meeting provided our members with an overview of the Public Order TIG, including its history, tasks, and main objectives, as well as future plans. The following are the dates for the next C-UAS TIG online meetings:

  • 29th September 2022 at 12:00 – 13:30 CEST | Analysis Subgroup meeting
  • 19th October 2022 at 12:00 – 14:00 CEST | C-UAS TIG meeting
  • 28th November 2022 at 13:00 – 15:00 CEST | C-UAS TIG meeting

The Group is currently working on an updated version of the C-UAS Project Initiation Document (PID), which outlines the project’s goals, tasks, expected outcomes, and other details. This is a living document that will be updated to reflect the needs and priorities of Members.

Furthermore, the following are the main priorities for the C-UAS TIG:

  • continuation of regular C-UAS TIG and Subgroups online (and in-person) meetings,
  • concentrating on the operational requirements for C-UAS systems, drone forensics, and collaboration with DG HOME,
  • updating the operational situation picture and focusing on operational environment/airspace analysis of the organisation of the C-UAS TIG Industry Day’s second edition
