ENLETS Confirms Public Order TIG

Public Order is a Technology Interest Group about the policing of public events and maintaining peace and safety during large gatherings of people. This has been a key element of law enforcement activities for a long time and is perhaps more pertinent than ever.

With threats becoming more diverse, the need for public safety is a number-one priority. Therefore, it is crucial to connect Law Enforcement Agencies with modern technologically and advanced methods of maintaining public peace and order. The European Union has directly expressed the necessity for a new, common approach, to public protection as part of its Counter-Terrorism Agenda for the EU - Anticipate, prevent, protect, respond.

ENLETS is pleased to announce the launch of a new Technology Interest Group that will deal with Public Order and related matters. Inspector Jakub Gorczynski, Deputy Chief of Police of the Polish Police Regional Headquarters in Radom was appointed TIG Chair in April.
