Join i-LEAD's Industry & Research Days, 2022

This year the international i-LEAD Industry & Research Days will take place from 6 – 8 September at the HSD Campus in The Hague.

The overarching security themes of the Industry & Research Days 2022 are Mobile Hijacking, Vehicle Mitigation, Crime Scene Recording & Documentation, Online Investigation and Public Order & Counter-unmanned Aircraft Systems.

Are you a solution provider or researcher for one of these crime areas? If so, we encourage you to apply and contribute to the event!

The i-LEAD (Innovation – Law Enforcement Agencies’ Dialogue) project, coordinated by the National Police of the Netherlands, aims to identify the needs and priorities of police forces to make recommendations on relevant resources that can satisfy those needs and enhance their work capabilities. The Industry & Research Days organised together with Europol, ENLETS, the European Clearing Board and Security Delta (HSD), create an environment conducive to discussions about innovative technology solutions to assist with the known needs and gaps identified during the practitioner workshops. Many of the technological areas could help support law enforcement in more than one of the selected security themes, with a clear overlap between them. Moreover, due to the demand for innovative solutions, technologies that offer wide coverage and that can integrate with existing systems are very attractive.

How to apply?

If you represent a Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) or Procurement team and would like to attend this event, register.

If you are a technology provider or researcher and would like to apply to present during this event – please complete the application. Based on the proposals received, a programme that is deemed most relevant for attendees and adheres to the needs and technology areas will be selected.

The deadline for companies to submit applications and introductory videos of their tools and services is the 23^rd of July. Make sure to apply by then!

I-LEAD and HSD

HSD Office supports the i-LEAD Project which is executed by a consortium funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 – Research and Innovation Framework Programme. The Netherlands Police leads the project and is an initiative from the ENLETS community. The Industry and Research Days are co-organised with another HSD partner: Europol.
