On the 24th and 25th of November 2021, the ENLETS National Contact Points’ (NCP) meeting was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia to complement the current Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The event was the first in-person NCP meeting since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. It was wonderfully hosted by the Slovenian Police who provided a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable space for the entire event.
The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the ENLETS activities that took place this year, as well as identify priorities for 2022. Practical presentations were also made by the Slovenian Police, which related to the security operations centre, artificial intelligence and drones.
TIG leaders had the opportunity to present their groups’ activities – the current ones and those planned in the future. The presentations gave an insight into the progress that has been made, and the aspects to re-evaluate and improve on going forward.
